Listed below are two easy ways to upload music onto your phone. Once you’ve transferred music onto your phone, go to Menu, Multimedia, MP3 Player and select the song you want to hear.

The first method is to transfer files directly from your computer to a memory card in your phone with a USB cable. This is a quick and easy method, but you must have a memory card for your phone in order to do it. A memory card can be purchased at any ACS Store.
- You must have a memory card for your phone. Memory cards can be purchased at any ACS store.
- Before you get started, make sure to disconnect the USB cable from your phone if it is already connected.
- On your phone, go to Menu, Settings, Connection, USB Settings and change the default setting to USB Drive.
- Connect the cable to your phone and to an available USB port on your computer.
Note: Make sure to connect the phone to a high-power USB port on your computer (not a low-power one such as the USB port on your keyboard or bus-powered USB hub). Typically, USB high-power ports are located directly on your computer.
- Open your My Computer window and your phone’s memory card will display as a Removable Disk icon.
- Click on the Removable Disk icon to access your phone’s memory card.
- Drag and drop the desired MP3’s into the Mobile folder.
- When you finish, disconnect your phone by clicking on the Safely Remove Hardware icon in the system tray on your computer screen (right bottom corner), then selecting Safely Remove USB Mass Storage Device.
- Disconnect the cable from your phone and computer.
- You can now listen to music on your phone!

The second method is to use Motorola Phone Tools. Once this software is installed, your Motorola Phone and computer will be able to talk to each other, and you can easily transfer music onto your phone (along with being able to do a lot of other really cool things). Motorola Phone Tools can be purchased at any ACS store.
- Install Motorola Phone Tools onto your computer.
- Before you get started, make sure to disconnect the USB cable from your phone.
- On your phone, go to Menu, Settings, Connection, USB Settings and change the default setting to Modem/COM.

- Next, select the option to use a USB cable to transfer music from your computer to your phone.
- Connect your phone to your computer with your USB cable.
- Once connected, an image of your phone and available options will appear on your computer screen.
